EXPERIENCE BEING A SPANIARD. DRINK LIKE ONE AT SHERRY WEEK. - Bombabar

November 03, 2020 2 min read

TO FULLY experience the awesomeness that is Spanish culture, one must drink like a Spaniard. The best way to do it in Melbourne? Make your way to Bomba Bar In Melbourne’s CBD for Sherry Week this November.

Few drinks can claim to be as unique and varied as Sherry. Ever since Sir Francis Drakeransacked the port of Cádiz in 1587 and made off with 3,000 barrels of Sherry, internationals have been addicted to the stuff.

HOW YOU CAN DO SHERRY WEEK

The idea of Sherry Week at BOMBA is to promote drinking sherry to both newcomers and aficionados as well a showcasing the huge variety in Styles, from bone-dry to sweet, and how well they match with many different types of food, from cheese to fish, meat to desserts.

Given the depth and bredth of sherry options available (and the Spanish requirement of sampling all the things), we’ve created sherry experiences that’ll kick ass for every Melbournite from here to Jerez.

Five Course Tapas Set Menu w Sherry To Match.
